Creative Concepts in Fine Art Photography Sept, 2019

DETAILS: Take a peek into the world of Marie’s creative concept shoots, where you will have the opportunity to photograph a world class model, with exquisite posing skills in some beautifully styled costumes.
This model shoot will be supported the following day by a post production session where we will discuss image selection,  retouching and image development from start to finish in Photoshop.

DAY ONE  SCHEDULE 12 Noon – 4pm
Will consist of a 4 hour Studio Shoot with Model Zoe, featuring 4 completely styled concepts.
Your time with the model will be closely monitored to ensure each photographer is able to get the poses and shots they need.
This will not be a “shoot out”!
We will be using Studio Strobes and working with both high and low key set-ups and a variety of lighting styles.
Lighting Triggers will be provided.
Soft Drinks and Snacks available.

DAY TWO 10AM to 3PM
A 4 hour classroom style tutorial session with a break for lunch. {Lunch will be provided}
We will have realtime TV presentation of Marie’s editing and post processing techniques in Photoshop and cover topics including:
Basic Camera Raw Adjustments
Non Destructive Editing Workflow
Skin Retouching
General editing and basic compositing.

LOCATION: Marie’s Studio is located near Newtown/Sandy Hook, CT
Approximately 10 minutes away from Exit 11 on I-84.
The exact location will be provided to registered attendees.

Equipment required:
Day 1: A DSLR camera with hot shoe, and any lenses you wish to bring.  Suggested lenses 50mm, 85mm, 24-70mm or similar.
Day 2: Photoshop session you will need a laptop with Photoshop installed and a Wacom (or other tablet) if you usually use one.
Marie will be teaching from the latest version of Adobe Photoshop CC
An extension cord and notebook and pen.
Your own model releases to be signed by Zoe.

{Triggers for strobes will be provided}

A $150 Deposit (non refundable) is required to reserve your space!  (space is limited to 4 Photographers ONLY!)
Balance of payment (is due 30 days prior to the commencement of the workshop, i.e. 14th August, 2019
An Early Bird price of $450 is available until 1st August, 2019, thereafter the workshop fee is $500.

Please note, in the event that the workshop is cancelled by the organizers for any reason – a full refund of any and all monies paid will be issued.
